In memory of Nigel Doughty’s mother Mercia Doughty, who was a lead maternity nurse for many years at St Mary’s Hospital Newark Nottinghamshire, The Doughty Family Foundation donated £1 million to support the build of a new pre-operative assessment unit and an extended endoscopy unit at the Newark Hospital.
