due to the permanent request for accommodation that mothers or relatives of children from distant communities need as they must exhaust a long stay at the hospital, as well as the parents of those children who are in the intensive care unit (ICU) who they themselves have very limited visiting hours throughout the day & currently spend the night sleeping on cardboard or quilts in the outside area of ​​the Mercia Doughty Paediatric Oncolgy Center so as not to be away from their children since they come from other provinces …

It will be of use for those parents who need a place to stay while their children are in need of ambulatory or palliative treatments as they must arrive at the hospital in the early hours of the morning most times needing shelter , a meal , a place to rest or the essential daily needs for days on end .
